This BBC News typo will give you an immature LOL

*snigger*

YESTERDAY IT WAS announced that the Large Hadron Collider is back in action after a two-year hiatus.

CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, confirmed the news yesterday and stated that “the most powerful particle accelerator in the world” was “back in operation” following two successful restarts, which saw proton beams circulate the collider’s tunnels.

Naturally enough, BBC News reported on the exciting breakthrough.

Unfortunately, their report was blighted by this rather immature typo.

People could scarcely believe their eyes.

In fairness, they aren’t the first to make the mistake.
